Power of small wins

Your Small Wins Matter More Than You Think

We always hype up the big milestones—losing 10 pounds, running a half marathon, landing a dream job. And don’t get me wrong, those moments are amazing and deserve to be celebrated. But what about all the small wins that get you there?

Like…
- Drinking enough water today instead of running on coffee? That’s a win.
- Getting outside for some fresh air, even if it was just for five minutes? That’s a win.
- Choosing to move your body when you really didn’t feel like it? Still a win.

The thing is, these small moments are everything. They’re what actually move the needle forward. But because they seem tiny in the moment, we don’t think they matter. We brush them off, telling ourselves we should be doing more or that it’s “not enough.”

But let’s be real—if you only celebrate yourself when you hit some huge, life-changing goal, you’re gonna spend most of your life feeling like you’re not there yet. And that’s exhausting.

Instead of waiting for some massive achievement to feel proud, start celebrating the little wins now. When you acknowledge the small steps, you actually build momentum and want to keep going. You shift your mindset from “I have so far to go” to “I’m already making progress.” And that mindset shift? Game-changing.

So here’s your reminder: give yourself credit for the things that might feel “small.” They count. They add up. They are the journey.

Take a second right now—what’s one small win you’re celebrating today? Take a mental note or journal it

With love and gratitude,
