Skincare favorites and the importance of celtic salt

Happy Saturday! Today we will be talking about skincare and Celtic salt!

Growing up, we were encouraged never to give up, but some societal systems contradict this message. The education system, for example, often focuses on achieving high grades by memorizing information for exams, promoting short-term retention rather than genuine learning. This fosters perfectionism and a fear of failure, which can hinder personal growth and discourage taking risks. However, changing our perception of failure is vital for development and growth. We must recognize that failure is an opportunity to learn valuable lessons and minimize regrets. The fear of failure should not hold us back from trying new things, as the worst outcome is missing the chance to learn and improve. Embracing failure as a stepping stone to success can lead us toward unforeseen opportunities and personal development. By breaking free from perfectionism and fear, we can become more resilient individuals, unafraid to pursue our dreams and positively impact the world. It's important to keep trying and remain grateful throughout the entire process.

- My skincare favorites -

Skincare is something that I’m very passionate about. I used to struggle with acne, as most of us do in high school, and I went through so many different products in the past few years. I finally have my go-to products that make up my daily skincare routine.

The Power of Celtic Salt

The brand of Celtic Salt I use

Celtic salt is a type of unrefined salt that is harvested from coastal regions of France. It is often considered more nutritious and beneficial than regular table salt due to its unique harvesting process and mineral content. The power of Celtic salt lies in its natural properties, which set it apart from heavily processed table salt.

  1. Mineral content: Celtic salt is rich in magnesium, potassium, and calcium. These essential minerals play crucial roles in maintaining various bodily functions, including nerve function, muscle contraction, and fluid balance.

  2. Less processing: Unlike regular table salt, Celtic salt is minimally processed and is hand-harvested from clay-lined salt ponds or salt marshes. This gentle harvesting method allows the salt to retain its natural mineral composition, which may be lost during the refining process of table salt.

  3. Alkalizing effect: Celtic salt is believed to have an alkalizing effect on the body, helping to balance the pH levels. An alkaline environment is associated with various health benefits, including better digestion and improved energy levels.

  4. Hydration support: The presence of minerals in Celtic salt may aid in maintaining proper hydration levels in the body. These minerals help the cells absorb water more efficiently, promoting better hydration.

Goal for the day -

Shock the system. Do something completely different than your normal routine. We can get so engrained in our day-to-day lives that they blend together. I noticed this a lot this past summer, and that is the last thing I want. I want to live in the moment and be aware of everything, good and bad. Things that can help keep you aware are changing things up. Take a long walk without music or podcasts, use a new route to work, or do a new meditation, the options are endless.
