How to defend against parasites

Thank goodness it’s Friday!
Quote of the day:

The best way to predict the future is to create it
I used to think things would happen how they were supposed to, and they do to an extent. However, we can’t manifest everything by just thinking it into existence. We must take action. No matter what action you take, even if you fail, you will be one step closer to achieving your goals.
Planning may feel like progress, but you are standing still. Waiting for the perfect moment means waiting for a time that will never come. Even if you don’t see the finish line yet, it’s important that you take a step toward achieving your goals every day.
Taking action is the best thing you can do for your goals. It allows us to capitalize on opportunities, overcome challenges, and adapt to changing circumstances. It empowers us to set clear goals, devise strategies, and work towards achieving them.
Creating the future through action empowers us to be the architects of our destiny rather than being passive observers of life's unfolding events. It aligns with the idea that today's decisions and efforts directly impact the outcomes we will experience tomorrow.
Don’t take the backseat role in your life - take charge and take action by creating the future you want today.
Parasites are a reality in our environment; understanding them is key to protecting our health. Rather than inciting fear, my goal is to focus on informing and creating awareness around the steps to support our body's natural defense against environmental parasites.
Parasites can impact our body and health in several ways. They may compete with the host for essential nutrients, leading to malnutrition and weakness. Some parasites can damage organs and tissues, leading to inflammation and chronic illnesses. They may also compromise the immune system, making us more susceptible to other infections. Common symptoms of parasitic infections include abdominal pain, weight loss or gain, fatigue, and skin irritations.
How to defend against parasites
Maintain good hygiene
Limit eating processed foods or sugary foods
Exercise: Physical activity strengthens your immune system, so it will help defend against parasites.
Drink safe water: Consume clean and safe water from trusted sources. If unsure about the water quality, consider using bottled or boiled water for drinking and cooking.
Cook food thoroughly: Ensure that food, especially meat, fish, and poultry, is cooked at appropriate temperatures to kill any potential parasites. Make sure to eat the ginger served with sushi because it helps inhibit any potential bacteria growth.
Wash fruits and vegetables: Thoroughly wash fruits and vegetables because they may be contaminated.
