AM vs PM Workouts

Happy Monday!

A common goal in the new year is to make a big transformation and have a “glow up” in an area of one's life, whether financial or physical. However, in order to make those changes, it’s important to start showing up as that person. Do the things that you would imagine your higher self would do. In order to attract a certain energy, you must embody it first.

AM vs. PM Workouts

Morning Workouts:

Pros:

  1. Boosts Metabolism: Exercising in the morning can help kickstart your metabolism, helping you burn more calories throughout the day

  2. Establishes Routine: Morning workouts can become a consistent part of your daily routine, leading to better adherence

  3. Increased Energy Levels: Physical activity when you wake up can increase energy levels and help you stay more alert throughout the day

  4. Enhances Mood: Exercise releases endorphins, positively impacting your mood and reducing stress

  5. Better Sleep: Regular morning exercise may contribute to improved sleep patterns for some individuals

Cons:

  1. Less Energy: If you choose to workout in the morning, you have fewer calories, aka energy, in your system. This may result in less-than-optimal performance

  2. Time Constraints: If you have a tight morning schedule, it might be challenging to fit in a longer workout

Night Workouts:

Pros:

  1. Increased Strength and Endurance: Strength and endurance peak in the evening, which can potentially enhance performance

  2. Stress Relief: Evening workouts can serve as a great way to unwind and relieve stress

  3. More Time: Evening workouts may provide more time for longer and more comprehensive training sessions

Cons:

  1. Potential for Disruption: Evening workouts might be disrupted by unforeseen social or work-related commitments

  2. Sleep Interference: Exercising too close to bedtime can interfere with sleep, as it raises adrenaline and heart rate

  3. Crowded Gyms: If you prefer working out at a gym, it may be more crowded in the evenings
