Benefits of Creatine

Happy Monday! Another week to commit to your goals!

I came across a TikTok over the weekend that resonated with me, challenging the idea of being overly realistic about our goals. I fully agree with the sentiment. At times, we find ourselves getting weighed down by the stresses of life. With just one life to live, why not embrace the opportunity to take risks? Whether it's exploring the world, starting a business, or making bold career moves, anything you desire can be within reach. Instead of adhering to realism, consider embracing a more optimistic perspective. Be a bit "delusional" and have unwavering faith that what you desire is on its way to you. Life is too short to hold back from pursuing your dreams.

CREATINE
Creatine plays a crucial role in the production of energy during high-intensity, short-duration activities. It’s made up of three amino acids: arginine, glycine, and methionine.

Creatine has been shown to enhance strength and power
Increased Muscle Mass:
Supplementation with creatine may contribute to an increase in muscle mass, especially in combination with resistance training
Enhanced Exercise Performance:
Creatine helps the body produce energy rapidly during high-intensity exercise. This can improve performance in activities like sprinting, jumping, and weightlifting
Quicker Recovery:
Creatine may aid in faster recovery when doing intense exercise
Cell Hydration and Muscle Fullness:
Creatine draws water into muscle cells, leading to increased cell hydration
Neuroprotective Effects:
Creatine may have neuroprotective properties and could be beneficial for cognitive function
ATP Regeneration:
Creatine plays a key role in regenerating adenosine triphosphate (ATP). This allows for the rapid replenishment of energy stores during short bursts of high-intensity effort
Bone Health:
There is a potential link between creatine supplementation and improved bone health

Book update:
The Alchemist is easily becoming one of my favorite books I’ve read. This book follows the journey of Santiago, a shepherd boy, as he pursues his personal legend. There are themes of destiny, dreams, and the importance of listening to one's heart, all woven into one.
Another quote from this book that I’ve loved-
